Parental Leave and Backup Daycare
Consistent with the Firm's commitment to a positive work environment, we maintain a flexible parental leave policy for lawyers who wish to take time away from work after the birth or adoption of a child. Up to 12 weeks of paid leave, and 24 weeks in total (pro-rated for permanent part-time lawyers) are available to any lawyer who is the primary caregiver for a child or children. In addition, a 2-week paid leave may be taken by any lawyer who is the spouse of the primary caregiver at the time of birth or adoption. We also support a part-time schedule upon the lawyer's return to work.
Back-up childcare is available at ChildrenFirst, located in our office building at One Financial Center. The cost of this service is shared by the Firm and any employee who wishes to use it.
