Robert B. Foster has been elected Board Chair for the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (MLAC).  MLAC provides leadership and support to improve civil legal services to low-income people in Massachusetts through collaboration with the legal services community, the public, the bar and the Legislature.  Bob has been a board member of MLAC since 2001.

Bob  has also co-chaired the Boston Bar Association's Delivery of Legal Services Section as well as the Pro Bono Committee of the Real Estate Section.  Bob has also served on the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts State Planning Board for Civil Legal Services and is a member of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission.
