January 11, 2009, Kurt James, a Director in the firm’s Real Estate Department and Chair of the Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice Group, was quoted in the Boston Globe regarding a proposed affordable housing project in Marblehead.  James is a member of the Town’s Planning Board, Smart Growth Advisory Committee, Affordable Housing Trust and Fair Housing Committee, which have been working together to increase affordable housing in Marblehead. The proposed project involves development of an 18 unit friendly 40B mixed income condominium on a vacate parcel of town owned land.
