On January 21, 2009, Sean Carron, Director of Public Policy at CHAPA, William H. Grogan, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the Planning Office of Urban Affairs, and Maureen O'Donnell, the Property Manager at the Regatta Riverview Condominium in Cambridge, were guest speakers at a Real Estate Bar Association Affordable Housing Committee lunch hosted by Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster.  Mr. Carron, Mr. Grogan and Ms. O’Donnell discussed legal and business issues arising in mixed income condominiums, including a presentation of proposed legislation to amend M.G.L. c. 183A, the Commonwealth’s condominium statute, to allow developers and owners greater flexibility in calculating percentage interests in mixed income condominiums.
