Practice Focus

Ms. Ellis is Counsel to the firm and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department.  She is responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including:

  • representing lenders and developers in construction, permanent and secondary financing
  • drafting and negotiating commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements
  • reviewing intricate title matters and certifying titles
  • negotiating loan restructures and conducting mortgage foreclosures
  • researching and analyzing zoning issues

Notable Experience

Outside counsel to major telecommunications company in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of its real estate portfolio throughout New England and in the negotiation and documentation of its utility easements.

Represent developer of residential complexes in the acquisition, financing and disposition of single and multifamily rental and condominium properties.

Represent a national shopping center developer in connection with the acquisition and redevelopment of regional shopping malls in the greater Boston area.

Outside counsel to international insurance company in financing transactions secured by properties throughout Massachusetts.
