Practice Focus

Madelyn examines titles for both residential and commercial properties. She visits Land Court offices to research registered land, examines probate records, records and registers papers at various registries of deeds, city and town halls and assessors offices. She also researches back titles in Rackemann's extensive records and instructs new attorneys on workings of registries.

Notable Experience

Madelyn has researched titles in Registries of Deeds for the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Middlesex South/North, Essex South/North, Worcester South/North, Plymouth, Bristol (all three) Barnstable and Nantucket as well as in Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

Background

Madelyn came to Rackemann 11 years ago. Before coming to Rackemann, she was a free-lance title examiner with the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds, and previously worked at Gaston & Snow and Hale and Dorr.
