Christelle is passionate about helping families throughout all aspects of their lives, from resolving conflicts in domestic relations to securing family wealth for generations to come. To this end, she uniquely serves in two departments at Rackemann, Family Law and Trust and Estates.
She represents individuals in all aspects of family law disputes including divorce and paternity actions, as well as post-divorce matters such as the modification of judgments and contempt actions. Christelle’s practice focuses on issues regarding child custody and parenting plans, support (child support and alimony) and the division of assets.
As an associate within Rackemann’s Trusts and Estates department, Christelle represents individuals and families in protecting and preserving their wealth through multiple generations with practical and sophisticated estate planning techniques. She also advises individuals in trust and estate administration matters.
Christelle joined Rackemann in November 2018. As a student in the evening division of her law school program, Christelle worked full time with in-house counsel at a digital learning solutions company on a variety of legal employment law and private equity matters. While studying in London at Regents University, Christelle pursued coursework in conflict resolution and comparative human rights law. Previously, Christelle worked for the Legal Aid Society on domestic relations matters as a part of a project serving to enforce the Violence Against Women Act, and other abuse prevention policies.
Christelle enjoys various forms of classical dancing, hiking, skiing, biking, and cooking. She is a language and culture aficionado, speaking French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish fluently.
Her community involvement includes Urbanity Dance, Official Dance School of the Boston Children’s Museum striving to “engage, inspire, and empower individuals and communities through the art of dance and movement”. (Non-profit)
