Press Release: Francesco A. De Vito Appointed to Executive Committee of Boston Bar Association Council
Francesco A. De Vito has been appointed by the President of the Boston Bar Association (BBA) to the Executive Committee of the BBA’s Council. The Council sets the BBA’s policy, makes major financial decisions, and provides crucial oversight on behalf of the members. Frank is in the second year of his three year term on the Council.
The BBA is the hub of the legal profession in Boston. It is the Commonwealth’s premier legal institution, bringing together the brightest and most influential people to lead at the forefront of the profession. The BBA’s mission is to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, foster a diverse and inclusive professional community, and serve the community at large.
The BBA is governed by a Council of 14 members along with 29 sections and more than 100 committees dedicated to substantive areas of law, as well as issues such as delivery of legal services and diversity and inclusion.
