Johanna Schneider Serves on Steering Committee for BBA’s Law Day Dinner
Rackemann attorney Johanna Schneider, a Director in the firm’s Real Estate and Litigation Departments, has been selected to serve on the Steering Committee for the Boston Bar Association’s 2014 Law Day Dinner. The Law Day Dinner is the largest annual bench bar event in Massachusetts with over 1,300 members of the area’s legal community expected to attend. It will be held on May 12, 2014 at the Boston Convention Center.
The event will feature Boston’s newly elected Mayor, Martin J. Walsh, as its keynote speaker. Additionally, awards will be presented to over 65 volunteers of the BBA Marathon Assistance Project, who leapt at the opportunity to help victims affected by the Marathon bombing tragedy, and to the Private Industry Council, for their longstanding dedication to providing educational and career opportunities to underprivileged youth in Boston.
Each year, the Boston Bar Association relies on a Steering Committee of 25 leading Boston attorneys to recruit the many sponsors that make the event possible. “It is an honor to participate in the Steering Committee” said Johanna, “and to be working toward making this year’s Law Day Dinner a success.” The Committee has already recruited more than 60 law firms and other organizations as sponsors.
Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster is proud to have signed on as an early sponsor of the Boston Bar Association’s Law Day Dinner. To learn more about the event, visit its website or call 617-778-1930.
