Boston law firm Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster announces that Francesco A. De Vito will present at a Boston Bar Association (BBA) program entitled “Massachusetts Quirks in Conveyancing,” on October 18, 2018. The presentation will address some of the Massachusetts nuances of representing buyers, sellers and lenders in commercial real estate transactions, including quitclaim deeds, up-to-date forms of notarial acknowledgment, transfer taxes, and authority requirements for all types of non-individual grantors, including trusts, estates, tenants-in-common, and condominiums.
As a Director in the firm’s Real Estate practice, De Vito is an experienced real estate and finance attorney, serving as counsel to lenders, borrowers, developers, landlords and tenants in a broad range of commercial transactions. He is experienced in all types of financing transactions, including construction and permanent loans, senior and mezzanine financings, multistate portfolio loans, syndicated loans, lines of credit, revolving loans, intercreditor arrangements, securitized loans, loan restructurings, workouts and foreclosures. De Vito also has extensive experience in leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, commercial condominiums and zoning and permitting matters.
