Rackemann Attorney Maura E. Murphy Re-Elected to Wellesley Free Library Board of Trustees
Boston, MA, April 10, 2018 — Boston law firm Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster announces that Maura E. Murphy was re-elected to the Board of Trustees of the Wellesley Free Library, Wellesley, Massachusetts on March 6, 2018.
The Board of Trustees is a six-member board consisting of local residents who are elected to three-year terms of office. The Board oversees all library services and policies through an ongoing planning process. As a Trustee, Murphy will help assess the library’s needs and establish policies and procedures that are consistent with the national standards set by the American Library Association. She will also work with the Board to prepare budgets and supervise library facilities.
As a Director in the firm’s Business Group, Murphy provides general corporate and tax advice to for-profit and non-profit corporations, individuals and entities as well as employment advice to both businesses and executives. Her clients include start-up companies, small and large businesses, charitable organizations, real estate developers and corporate executives. Murphy also represents both lenders and borrowers in commercial, mortgage loan, mezzanine loan, preferred equity and joint venture equity financings.
