Rackemann Real Estate Attorney Johanna W. Schneider Named to the Town of Brookline Zoning By-Law Committee
The Zoning By-Law Committee provides a forum for town residents, businesses, boards, commissions, and departments to present and discuss potential Zoning By-Law amendments for possible submission to the town meeting. The Committee also reviews and makes recommendations to the Planning Board on any zoning amendments submitted for town meeting action, as well as on the zoning amendment warrant articles referred by the town meeting for further study.
As a Director in Rackemann’s Real Estate Group, Schneider focuses her practice on real estate development permitting, land use and environmental litigation, and representing public and private clients at the trial and appellate levels. She guides owners, developers and other entities through local, state, and federal permitting processes for complex real estate development projects. She regularly represents clients before permitting authorities, including the Boston Planning & Development Agency, Boston Zoning Commission, Municipal Zoning Boards of Appeal City and Town Planning Boards, and Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office.
