Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster Sponsors Boston College Law Day
Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster recently sponsored Boston College Law School’s Annual Law Day Event. Established by presidential proclamation in 1958, Law Day is a long-standing tradition across the nation and at Boston College Law School. Its purpose is to celebrate the most important goals of the legal profession: to advance equality and justice, encourage observation and enforcement of the law, and to foster respect for the law and an understanding of its essential place in the life of every citizen.
The event took place on May 1st at the Boston Harbor Hotel, and was a marvelous success with near-record breaking attendance. Three Rackemann attorneys attended the festivities, Judge David Mills, Stacie Kosinski, and Michael Tarantino, all of whom are graduates of Boston College Law School. At the event, speakers shared stories of Boston College Law School alumni who exhibit the values of the legal profession celebrated by Law Day. Awards were also presented to distinguished alumni and law school faculty who most exemplify those principles.
Rackemann, Sawyer and Brewster is proud to have been a sponsor of Boston College Law School’s Law Day activities, and to have partnered with the school to celebrate those who embody the legal profession’s most important ideals. The firm congratulates Boston College Law School on the success of their event.
